Mr. Hair has obtained a well rounded legal experience over the years. Having first practiced primarily in a plaintiff’s personal injury firm for six years, Mr. Hair has gained insight into the perspective of plaintiff’s counsel and their strategies. Mr. Hair was then employed at Nationwide Insurance Company as its first claims counsel for the State of Alabama. In that position Mr. Hair went from handling all litigated matters for Nationwide in Alabama to training Nationwide claims representatives on how to handle litigation claims. As part of that process Mr. Hair was the co-author of “Nationwide Insurance Company Litigation Management Manual for Alabama”. During his tenure at Nationwide Insurance Mr. Hair was a consultant on both personal and commercial lines of insurance in Nationwide Bodily Injury and Material Damage Units. Mr. Hair subsequently re-entered private practice as an insurance defense litigator. Mr. Hair has extensive litigation experience in the following areas: insurance defense; catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation; fraud defense; personal injury; commercial litigation; construction litigation; toxic torts; products liability; transportation litigation; motorsports litigation; contract disputes; bad faith; mold litigation; environmental litigation; insurance coverage disputes; medical device liability; and workers compensation.
